Why is it retarded? On the one I use the only boards it supports are 4chan, 7chan, 420chan, 99chan and some bullshit no one uses called iChan. I don't think it's unreasonable to imagine that 789 could be added or supported by another app.

That's fine man, I know plenty of people have never used one of these smart phone apps and many may expect to never use one. I don't have a problem with that and if 789 was added to one of these programs you wouldn't be able to tell the difference when viewing the site with your computer.

I largely wanted to put the question to admins so they could explain why this is unlikely to ever happen or that it's reasonably possible or whatever the case is.

As well as other people that might be thinking about this topic because they have a smart phone or whatever. If some people feel that they won't ever be in a position to use one I guess my advice would be not to worry about it since it's going to make no difference in your life whatsoever.

Sorry I should have answered these questions in my last. If it is a matter of writing an application to some software developer that makes one of the apps, I'd be more than happy to that as long as there was enough interest among people that use mobile devices (though I doubt the process would be quite that formal but I'd do it either way).

And the biggest thing I wanted to find out is whether seanieb was interested in having something like this for 789 users. If he showed interest it's not difficult to contact the app developers and get their criteria and maybe for seanieb to contact whoever runs 7chan or 99chan and see how it's working out for them.

I'm not trying to break balls or anything I just think it's worth discussing because the mobile version of 789 isn't so great and more and more people use smart phones to lurk and the apps work really well. I assumed it would suck having to use one but they are surprisingly user-friendly.

Cool, I'll try to get more specific information. I don't think the sites pay to be included. There is no way a site like 7chan has extra money for that.

As far as I can tell *chans are included based on popularity and name recognition, I think 789 has enough of both to at least be considered.
