I wasn't sure which board to put this on, but it's not lolcow related, exactly. It's not really a question about the site, but I did want to talk to the staff. Well, really introMAN, but afaik he's not staff. Sorry if this annoys you or sounds stupid.

This isn't a personal army request but, I don't know anything about finding personal info on people beyond you know, pipl, white pages, whois and just plain old google.

There's a site, for obvious reasons I won't say which (obviously not this one) but I looked it up on whois, and the information it brought up suggested their info was being hidden by a company called domainprivacyprotect.

I guess what I'm asking is, is there any way to find out who's running a site if they have something like that protecting their identity? If the place is posting illegal content could I simply complain to that company?
