I seem to have a habit of trying to proxy-manage other people's websites. Maybe it's USI, I dunno.

Anyway, It seems to me that we've gone and made /b/ into exactly what /L/ used to be: discussion and musings about various idiots from around the internet. -Except now there's also going to be general threads mixed in which doesn't really make sense. (Remember when people wanted to use /cwc/ as general discussion during the drought simply because they liked the community but didn't want to click on another board?) Plus, these lolcow threads tend to have some actual discussion in them, but with the board limit, a spammer could wipe that all out when mods are sleeping. /b/ is the most common spam target on chans anyway (with the exception of /cwc/ in our unique case).

Currently /L/ is serving as a "library" for long threads that get moved over from /cwc/. As well as the old internet retardation threads from when it was its own board. How about we just unlock /L/ and let it be used for its original purpose, and let /cwc/ be designated specifically for lolcows who are being actively trolled?

On a slightly related note, /fail/ used to be kind of funny, but now it's just full of all the shitposts from /cwc/ and hasn't really been used since the Trey incident. How about swapping that for an actual /arc/hive board?

There weren't as many posters on /L/, but it still got 5 or 6 a day, which still made it the second most active.

So that's what I think would make 789 a little more logical, aside from getting rid of banners for non-existent boards.
And with that, let the homosexual allegations begin I guess?

this iteration of /b/ works, if only because we now have a place to point to when shitposting begins on /cwc/. It's easy now to say "keep this shit on /b/", whereas before it was an uphill battle.
/cwc/ is better already, even if it is too soon to tell with any certainty.
