It seems to be an attempt by Homor and company to pull some sort of a the cheese stand alone thing on Mr. Robert Wayne Stiles. Notable people "targeted" by /cwc/ who then themselves come to /cwc/ are befriended and treated nicely by the staff, while poor Mr. Robert Wayne Stiles sits around and rages about how much 789chan hates him (so, he has nobody to try to ally with, the staff is nice to them but not him so Mr. Robert Wayne Stiles is forced to admit he is the one who is being the ass, and the other spergs seem to be granted clemency while he can't get his way no matter how hard he tries).

Unless you're good friends with a major publisher, your chances to get your creation out there like that are somewhat slim. And even then people would still have to like your books. Granted, judging by 50 Shades of Grey's recent success, the bar has been set kind of low, but still, it's an extremely long and hard way to get recognition as a good author. Try writing short stories for a start so you can get a feel how to progress action and character development in your fictional work. Well, unless you want to just sit down and slam out fifty pages a day till all your stories read the same.

But that's just if you're serious about your work. Which you aren't.

Since Moleman seems intent on keeping his drawings cartoony and in his unique "style" I think he would best benefit from reading Preston Blair's instructional work.

This alligator does not move like a real alligator nor does it particularly look like a real alligator, and yet everybody knows what it is right away and, as shown, it can easily be moved and placed in a variety of real positions. The better a drawing, the less you think of it as a drawing and more as just a character. If Moleman really want's his work to be taken seriously, he should make it so people thin of his work in terms of real characters, and not just flat cave-painting like depictions of characters.

Since he also wants to write his own stories, he can take advice from Jeffrey A. Carver, a writer who gets paid to write sci-fi (or speculative fiction if you prefer). He may not be Olaf Stapledon nor H.G. Wells, but I think he know a thing or two about writin a coherent story.

Best advice is to adapt your writing as to fit with your thought process. If you have a tendency to write yourself into a corner write the ending first. Everything else can only be learned through experience and reading.
Getting published is a process and having a degree helps,as does partying with the right group of friends. You want to create a bias that works in your favor.
Everything else is just the shit that worked for someone else. Find your own formula or you will be nothing more than a knockoff.

Well, the majority of the people on there are obnoxious and unfunny. Doug's reviews used to be kinda good, but then he started fagging them up with unfunny exaggerated drama and multiple personas and shit. Take his live action Scooby Doo review for instance. I wanted to see him rip into the movie for a few minutes and call it done, like he used to. Instead what we get is him going on an insane 5 minute "in-character" rant about how much his life sucks, and then his "past" and "future" self come on the screen and start reviewing it as well. Do I even need to explain why this kind of writing sucks for what's supposed to be a simple review?

No, retard. You don't copy other books, but you can't become a good author unless...

You know, actually, CWCki could legitimately help you here, sperg: http://www.sonichu.com/cwcki/Chris_and_writing

>Anyone who wants to be a good writer must be well-read. It's one of the most natural ways to become acquainted with good style, the elements of a plot, and correct spelling. Chris's ego is so inflated that he thinks he can produce something brilliant with no effort whatsoever.

Nobody reads it. I've skimmed through a few chapters because of sick interest, but it's really a burden to get through even one chapter. Your writing doesn't "flow" well, it's not clever or particulary entertaining. Plus, the whole story about...eggs doesn't exactly make you want to read the entire thing.

I am not saying this like "Kill yourself sperg u suck". But I am saying you should humble yourself, read some more, play some less and of course write some more. Don't expect people to read it, though. I've written a lot, and with a lot I mean A LOT when I practiced writing English. Of course I was aware what I had written wasn't something that would get published or something that was really great, so I never even posted it to the internet. I just wrote to improve and entertain myself. This is something you should do as well, if you ever wish to become a better writer.

Hope this helps.

Really moleman? you don't have to be THAT accurate, a penis is something you don't usually think about when your drawing pictures of "animals".

I USUALLY don't. I have over 200 creatures, and maybe 5 of them have their penises drawn.

Also, if you want a REAL penis in a picture of mine to laugh about, refer to the Ferekkus, seen here:

You're welcome.

That is way to many moleman for something aimed at 12 year olds. This is something that Chris did moleman.

You have a point, I'm aware of the discrepancy with Chris's supposed "target audience".

>The Ferekkus themselves bear the appearance of very large humanoids, averaging three meters, with an organ of unknown purpose superficially resembling a large hat attached to the head and neck, as well as a massive forked double–penis rooted in and hanging from the groin. They have an infinite sex drive and will never orgasm, meaning they can sustain sexual activity indefinitely. This attribute allows them to dispatch an Amelchya, as punishment for insufficient “performance” or for other reasons, by continuously raping her until her body melts after an overwhelming number of orgasms.

Yep, the 12 year olds are gonna love this shit!

If the Nava–Verse were ever to be mass–marketed, Ferekki and other Lust demons wouldn't appear in the media aimed towards younger audiences.

WHITE LIES NIGGER
I explained this to you on IRC. Nobody IRL actually likes your art. They only say they do to be nice to the poor quirky autistic kid (you). I guarantee you that not a single person over the age of 12 without autism actually likes your mess of colors. Accept this fact.

You're wrong. Plenty of people like (or would like) the Nava–Verse. Accept this fact. I should know better than you, who can't rightfully say something like that as a fact.

Moleman, do you realize that you will never be successful in life?

Do you realize that the only online fame that you'll ever get is the likes of us, ED, and other people that watch/troll lolcows?

Do you realize that you are a lolcow? That's something very shameful to be, ya know.

What? Why? Because I hate trolls but am not afraid of them? That, and you BLATANTLY ignore all the positives about me, only paying attention to the negatives.
>> No. 48053

What positives? Look, I understand that you're probably a kind and caring person in real life, but honestly, when your worth is measured to the common man in terms of social awareness and achievement, you fall, very, very short.

What I'm saying is, you have very few positives, and you display even less of them online, and you have many social negatives that outweigh the positives regarding your objective worth as a person.

Don't make this about us, sperg. It's so easy to point out the "negatives", as you put it, in someone else, but owning up to your own is much harder. If you're comfortable, you're not growing, and if you're not growing you'll end up very much like our favorite lolcow, only with Eggmen instead of sonichu. You have to realize, your art and ideas aren't really that good. Yes, despite what your friends and teachers may have said. It's called humoring. Even if you had amazing art and a truly original idea, that still wouldn't be enough to start a franchise. Franchises need investors, marketers, all sorts of people in addition to the original creator. The soon you realize this, you can stop making your whole life revolve around your navaverse and focus on the things that actually matter in life. Or you can write me off as a troll and go back to drawing penises and playing with that bob marley banana thing. It's your choice.

That isn't about how smart you are, but how hard you're willing to work. There are kids in AP classes who aren't very bright, but manage to get there by working their asses off. Likewise, there are kids in the lower classes (we called them "college prep" at my high school) who are intelligent but don't want to put in any more effort than necessary.

Hey, don't take that as an insult. I just told you you're a hard worker. That'll mean a lot someday when it comes to putting bread on the table. That doesn't mean you're going to do jack shit with the Navaverse, though.

I know you're probably going to ignore this, which will make this entire situation even funnier.

lol wtf. the vast majority of AP classes and tests are easy as shit. the rest of the classes are usually a cesspool.
