You know what really gets me? Lazy shoppers. No, I don't mean those idiots who'll pick something up and carry it for awhile before deciding they don't need it and just leave it on a shelf in whatever aisle they're in. No, I mean people who leave carts sitting in the parking lot. What the FUCK is wrong with you that you can't take 20 seconds and push that empty cart over to a nearby corral? You're seriously the most self-absorbed motherfucking asshole if you think it's totally ok to just leave it wherever and drive off. This isn't even about making the job easier for the cart collectors. This isn't a personal grudge either, I've never worked anywhere that had shopping carts. But seriously, what the hell? Would it kill you to leave a clear parking spot for the next person without any hazards?

If I could see the future, I'd find out which people leave their carts loose and while they're inside, I'd surround their vehicle with upside-down shopping carts. See how much they like obstacles then.

Pic semi related; some dumbshit getting belly-flopped by a cart.

Would it kill you to drive an extra 20 seconds to reach the next available parking spot? How self-absorbed are you that you think other people need to have any concern for where and how you park your car?

I always park as far away as possible from the store and then walk up. The time I spend walking is the same amount of time I would have spent looking for a closer space. Plus, parking far away means that I'm mostly safe from the hazards of stray rolling carts and reckless drivers trying to squeeze their SUV into the spot next to my car.

It's called common courtesy. It has nothing to do with being self absorbed. There's just certain things that decent people do to be nice to an unknown person that he will never meet, with the hope that they would return the favor to the next person. It's the same reason you flush a public toilet, wash your hands after going to the bathroom, don't let your dog shit on a playground, and so on.

why would you be such a dick? it's like double parking. yeah okay, its not the end of the world, but it just shows a terrible lack of courtesy.
