OAuth is a pain. I just finished getting some code to work in PHP (CLI version) for a Twitter application. Twitter's documentation is comprehensive, but for some reason reading it makes me feel completely lost. I like to think I could have created all the OAuth requests by hand, but the time investment was just too much, so I went looking for a library. I had to experiment with three or four libraries before I found one I could work with. Most libraries expect the developer to run with PHP as a web module, not a CLI app.

I'm frustrated by the amount of time it took to get this over with. At least it's done, though. Now I can work on the rest of the app.

Yeah, I know: "cool story. bro". Just had to get it off my chest.
