So I'm planning on getting a Toshiba Thrive tablet. The reason I'm looking at this one in particular is that it runs Android, which means I can make little utility apps for myself without having to get extra hardware (I already have a PC and I'd need a Mac to do the same thing for the iPad). Also, it sports two USB ports and an HDMI port, so I don't need any adapters to transfer files, or perhaps attach to USB devices. Seems very convenient.

Has anyone had experience with this tablet? If so, what's the verdict?

I'd rather a WeTab. Runs linix so you can literally do whatever you want with it.
Also, since there's no Google that means no one spy on what ever I'm doing on my tablet.

Or it would be my tablet...but they don't ship to America...
