So I've got this franken-top, and I'm wondering what I can put on it...
It's got two PCI wireless cards, but the motherboard is funky. The URB ports in the front and two of them in the back are like overloaded or some shit... fried a 1GB flash drive with it. Burnt a hole in the memory chip in the flash drive itself.
It definitely has less than 2GB of RAM, a sub-par processor, and a CD drive that barely works. I can use an external DVD-R drive I've got that I can use to run live disks...
tl;dr shitty desktop. What should I put on it?

Install a linux distro and run you own server on it? A few shell accounts could be useful, maybe an ircd and a webserver with lighttpd etc.

Or if you want to use it as a browsing machine try installing Fluxbuntu/Mint/Damnsmalllinux on it.
