when i tried to open 789chan today i was prompted to enter a captch because "my pc or a pc on my network has been hacking" or something of that sort

so i did an avira scan
and for the first time ever it's stoppping the scan due to "hidden files"
system restore won't work
spybot, microsoft malicious software removal tool, and malwarebytes have found nothing

i think i might have a root kit and will have to reinstall windows 7
