Crazy slut ex housemate smashed my iphone screen and has ruined my headphone jack, volume buttons- basically every "button" besides the home button has stopped functioning.
While moving her stuff to the curb, I found an iphone 3GS that she had "found".
Does not turn on, though previously it had been "yellow screening"
I had tried to fuck around with it and see if it can replace mine but all I've found are cunce in iphone h4x threads saying "give the phone back to apple/the rightful owner" weh weh.

Can anyone halp?

really, I know very little about iStuff, but if it was yellow-screening (wut?) before and won't turn on now, my first guess would be the battery died. this is kind of obvious, but plug it in and see if anything happens?
beyond that, research what causes yellow-screening.
