Altered Carbon blew my mind in highschool. Read the sequel, it was okay. Went in a more militaristic direction, when I was hoping for more noir shenanigans. I've been meaning to read the other ones for a while now, but I'm worried they won't hold up to my glorified teenage memories of AC. Are they worth reading?

A while back I read "Gun with Occasional Music". It's got a little something for everyone. Dystopian future, noir mystery, hyper-evolved babies, and even furries. It was a fun read, but I think some might find it a little over the top.
