OP, why are you using a VPN? Are you outside the US? I can't get Hulu to work by using proxies, as it's always too slow to stream. I end up downloading the episodes I want to watch as torrents in the end.

(Shows them, if they weren't such cheap faggots to not let non Americunts watch, then fewer people would download the torrents. I'm too lazy usually and wouldn't mind ignoring a few commercials if it meant instant gratification, but nooo...)

Yes, I'm from Germany. Tor doesn't work with Hulu anymore so VPNs are the only solution I came across. I use StrongVPN, picked up a cheap special package (around 44 Euro for one year) with three server locations: Frisco, NY and London.

BTW, it got better, most commercials run smooth. I still have some lags from time to time in the breaks but overall it's really good. It could very well be that the error was/is on my respectively my ISP's end.
