My name is Commander Data, and I am confused by every single one of you. All of you are emotively intricate beings who spend every second of their day aspirating and performing other necessary biomechanical functions. You are everything intruiging in my world. Honestly, have any of you ever considered the deeper implications of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works? After all, I guess it is introspective to asses one's own shortcomings and adjust them for optimal performance, and I'd like to take this behaviour in myself to an entirely superior level. This is analogous to the Enterprise's own diagnostic functions.

Do not be an underachiever. If you wouldn't mind, I would like your friendship. I am largely superior to a humanoid, and I was emergency captain of the USS Sutherland, and remain Second Officer on the Enterprise. What are your notable accomplishments, if I may so inquire?
