Okay, so the NuArt in Los Angeles is showing "A Clockwork Orange" Dec. 2 at midnight. It's apparently the 40th anniversary of the film.

Here's what I'm offering:

I'll buy 5 tickets to be picked up at the ticket booth up until 11:45pm before the show. If you give the proper password, you get a ticket. After 11:45pm, the tickets will be given away to anyone who comes to the booth. This will all be handled as anonymously as I can think of right now. I'm going to pay cash, and whoever picks up the tickets will be unknown to me (first come, first served). All I ask in return is for someone to post a review or a message or something to the /mtv/ board.

What do you say? Are there enough L.A. filmfags here to be interested? If I can't get it done this weekend, it might not get done at all due to work schedules, so I need some feedback on this ASAP.

Or, if the showing is too close, the NuArt is showing Die Hard on Dec. 9, and the uncut version of Wild at Heart on Jan. 6 (the site says adults only for this one).

Let me know.

Is this some sort of a sex thing? Or a trap?
Either way, I live close enough that it's not too inconvenient and I'm free pretty much every night. What's the password?

No, it's not a sex thing. I thought it would be an interesting experiment to get some tickets and give them away. I wanted to see if I could up the traffic on this board or perhaps get some kind of occasional event going.

Unfortunately, you're the only one that responded, so it's not going to happen. At least not for Clockwork Orange. It's two days away, and with my schedule I won't be able to get to the theatre ahead of time and set things up with the management. Maybe some other time. I don't want to buy tickets in bulk and not have anyone show up for them.
