A age old discussion but why not

Who is the best Bond and which is the best film

Sean Connery is OG , gonna stick with him

GoldFinger is probably my favorite film, but I like Man with the Golden Gun alot too if just for Christopher Lee being in it

I go with Connery as well.

Interesting tidbit of information: Timothy Dalton, James Bond #4, was initially to replace Sean Connery, but he felt he was too young to play the part. The role eventually went to Roger Moore who didn't want to mimic Connery, and didn't want people to be reminded of his other spy character, The Saint. That's why Moore's Bond got so campy. After Roger Moore left, Timothy Dalton came back in, finally old enough to play the part.

I like Brosnan...ok, he had shit luck with his films though, they stuck him in crap movies that nothing could save, World is not Enough was completely forgettable, and there's the one with Madonna in it...

I agree on Goldeneye too, plus it got a badass video game

Funny thing about Brosnan. He got the part years after he wanted it. Brosnan was doing an American mystery/comedy show called Remington Steele. He got offered a Bond role, which was his dream, but the producers of the Remington Steele show basically forced him to give it up. His contract mandated he get their permission, and they wouldn't give it. My understanding is that it was because they somehow felt it would compete with or dilute the Remington Steele brand. TV execs can be a little paranoid and short-sighted.

Anyway, it was years until he was offered the part again, and by that point he got tired of it pretty quickly. His next few films after the Bond movies were picked to break his image away from the James Bond brand.
