Seems relevant & related to /pa/. World Health Organizations list of essential medicines. In a post apocalyptic world, this would make for a good checklist for impromptu hospitals and such.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WHO_Model_List_of_Essential_Medicines

Obviously, the list is quite extensive and one could do without much of it in a pure survival scenario. However, it could easily serve as a set of goals to achieve, if one were so inclined to set up a medical facility in a more populated area.

What other fundamentals of societal infrastructure would help rebuild a PA world? inb4 McDonalds.

Well in a post apocalyptic world the essentials of live would be a good start. Clean water, food, shelter, heating etc. But communications would also be a good thing, know who is still alive and where, and even possibly how to help them.
