Works once, maybe twice, but never show your face there again unless going in the building, because you'll eventually get someone on shift who recognizes you. Happened several times when I was working; nobody ever did get caught, though.

Just keep your head down, looking in your wallet, and go "Oh shit bro, out of cash" and keep going. It helps to not do it at the same place too many times, and to not do it at the same time of day if you can help it.
