i heard the same thing, but using a leaf of lettuce instead. i think this would be superior as you wouldn't get crumbs in your baccy... how long should you wait for? till it's as moist as you want it to be, obviously!

I use an apple wedge. adds a little flavor, too.

i use a slice of lemon-peel. don't keep it in too long or you'll have unsmokably moist tobacco.

back in the 70s there was a myth going round if you grate upmorange peel and bury said "wacky/baccy" in a jar for 2 weeks, it would enhance the active ingredient... problem, nobody had the self discipline to really try it out, so we just got more discriminating...

A bag or air-tight container with a moist paper towel will work, too. Just make sure not to let them touch and check it every 12 hours or so to make sure it doesn't get too moist.

use a very small chunk of potato. it works just as well, and even faster.

It's best to quit bitching and smoke it, if you artificially moisten it you'll run the risk of having moldy tobacco if you dont smoke it pretty quickly.
