most pawn shops offer shit prices (they know how you fucking got it) and a lot don't even take non-iphones. which is kinda bullshit imo, but whatever. plus, the very first place a person missing a cellphone, or certain authority figures looking for someones phone, will go to is the pawn shops.

set up a PO box and a fake email, then send em your shit. don't expected a good price, but you wont get entirely boned either. i acquired one of the newer razrs and got 210 for it. its a 500 dollar phone, so i coulda got more on craigslist, but you run the risk of the original owner showing up with the police, or worse, a gun.
