Earlier this year I got a PS2 cheap off eBay to play some stuff I always wanted to play on the console (mainly the MGS series and Final Fantasy XII) and while PCSX2 worked almost decent enough getting the PS2 was a little bit more comfortable.

So thus far I got: MGS, MGS 2, MGS 3, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII

I will get Silent Hill 2 as soon as I finish FFXII. I was wondering if anon could recommend some other good titles for the PS2 (or PSX) which are worth checking out.

Entire Shin Megami Tensei series, Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga in particular. Probably the best jRPG series ever IMO thanks to its storytelling and gameplay.

I will keep this in mind. Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne looks promising. I am always looking for Final-Fantasy-esque RPGs. Also appreciated: Infos on decent survival horror games, though I'm afraid this genre is quite manageable.
